Based on Charles Dickens’ beloved tale, A Merry Little Christmas Carol is a live, script-in-hand adaptation that blends the charm of the original story with a contemporary twist. Familiar characters, lighthearted humor, and a few modern surprises bring Scrooge, the Cratchits, and the Spirits to life in a fresh, engaging way while honoring the classic and giving it a fresh touch for today’s audiences.

After-Show Events

Tiny Tim’s Hot Cocoa Party & Share the Joy Toy Drive

Following the 2 PM performance, families are invited to stay for hot cocoa, cookies, and a meet-and-greet with the cast and crew. Those who wish may also bring a new, unwrapped, gender-neutral toy for our Share the Joy holiday drive supporting local children. Donations are completely optional.

First Annual Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest

After the 7 PM performance, audience members can take part in Salida Theater Project and A Church’s First Annual Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest, with prizes awarded in several fun categories.
